Edit the whois of a domain at Versio

If you have a domain registered with us your details are stored in the whois. If you want to change these details you can. In this article we tell more about how this works.

Change your details 

You can do this in the Versio customer panel. 

1. Login to Mijn Versio;
2. Go to My Products and then to Domain names;
3. Click on Overview followed by the arrow icon;
4. Pick Domain name holder. 

Here you can adjust the details of the domain holder.

The changes are processed in real-time by our system. For some domain name extensions it may take longer for the changes to become visible. Changing the holder details is free for most extensions. Changing the domain name holder details only costs money for .be and .nu domain names.

Changing the holder details of domain names with .uk or .co.uk extensions can only be done via the website of Nominet. You can do so by logging in to the 'Online Services' at http://www.nominet.org.uk/.

Holder management

You can have multiple domains with the same holder. Manage these with the following steps:

1. Go to My products;
2. Clock on Domain names followed by overview;
3. Go to Holder management.

You can now select a holder from a dropdown list and don't need to fill in the same details every time.

Change a holder

1. Go to My products and then to Domain names;
2. Click on Overview and select the checkbox in front of the domain;
3. Choose an action in the menu above the domain name list;
4. Click Change holder and then Continue;
5. Select the holder and click on Submit.
