Transferring a domain name to Versio

Transferring a domain name means that you move your domain name from one provider to another. Only the domain name is moved and not the website (the files, databases etc). You will have to move these yourself. The process of transferring a domain name differs per extension. Below you will find a description of the exact procedure.

.uk domain name (includes .co.uk, .org.uk and .me.uk)

1. To transfer a .*.UK domain name to Versio, you must first request the transfer via the website of Versio. When the domain name appears in your customer panel under Your domain names -> Inbound transfers you can proceed;
2. Go to https://www.nominet.uk/ and login to your account. You can transfer the domain name via Online Services to another TAG. The TAG of Versio at Nominet is: AXC-NL;
3. Wait a few minutes. Our system will detect that you have requested the transfer at Nominet and will include the domain name in your customer panel. You can then manage the domain name via your customer panel the way you're used to.

.nl domain name

1. Get the transfer code from the current provider. You need this code to transfer the domain name;
2. Request transfer at https://www.secure.versio.uk/domains;
3. Immediately after processing your order, the transfer process is completed. This only takes a couple of minutes.

.be domain name

1. Requesting transfer at https://www.secure.versio.uk/domains;
2. Immediately after your order has been processed you will receive the code by e-mail;
3. Now you can login to your customer panel at https://www.secure.versio.uk/klant.php and click Your domains -> Transfers on the left. Fill in the transfercode and the transfer will be completed.

.eu domain name

1. Get the transfercode from the current provider. You need this code to transfer the domain name;
2. Request transfer at https://www.secure.versio.uk/domains;
3. Immediately after processing your order the transfer process is completed. This only takes a couple of minutes.

.com, .net, .info, .org, .biz domain name

1. Get the transfercode from the current provider. You need this code to transfer the domain name. Also make sure you unlock the domain name at the current provider;
2. Request transfer at https://www.secure.versio.uk/domains;
3. The admin contact of the domain name will receive a link which needs to be clicked to confirm the transfer request;
4. The domain name will then be transferred within 5 days.
