The www-subdomain in a Versio SSL certificate

If you have SSL from us the www-subdomain is included. But does is not always the case. In this article we talk more about this.

Exceptions

In the following scenarios the www-subdomain is not included in the security of an SSL certificate:

• If you request an SSL certificate for domain.uk the SSL certificate will only apply for domain.uk and not www. You need to request SSL for www.domain.uk and domain.uk will be included for free.
• SSL for a subdomain other than www will only get you a certificate for that subdomain.
