Adjusting file permissions at Versio with FTP

Adjusting file permissions with FTP is very easy. Read below how to do this in three short steps. If you want to change the file permissions with FTP, you need to login to the FTP server via Filezilla.

Follow these steps

1. Go to the file you wish to adjust by navigating to the right directory. The files of which your website consist are listed in the directory: domains/yourdomain.eu/public_html;
2. Click the file of which you wish to adjust the permissions and right click. Click file attributes;
3. After clicking file attributes, the following window will open. By ticking read, write or execute, you adjust the rights of the file.
