Resetting the DirectAdmin password of your Versio VPS

It can happen you lose the admin password of DirectAdmin on your VPS. Resetting this is very easy when you follow the following steps.

Step 1: Go to My Products > VPS;

Step 2: Go to the admin page of the VPS and connect with the console. There, you log in with the root login you’ve received by email

Step 3: Next, you give the following demand: passwd admin. You will have to fill in the new password twice, after which the admin password of DirectAdmin will be reset.
